Job Summary:
Westat is seeking a  IT Project Manager to be part of our team and manage requirements for IT projects including website and software development and maintenance.  You will work closely with software engineers, technical program managers, designers, and test teams to design and develop information systems and websites that support our research mission that spans public health, clinical trials, social policy and education. 

This position is based onsite at our office in Rockville and is eligible for a hybrid work schedule.

Job Responsibilities:
•    Conduct business process analyses and needs assessments, clearly documenting findings into systems requirements. 
•    Manage software development life cycle (SDLC)
•    Work with subject matter experts across social science domains, and technical leads to capture requirements and design a solution
•    Make effective presentations and create project documentation artifacts. 
•    Develop technical documentation. 
•    Maintain project schedule

Basic Qualifications:
•    A bachelor's degree, preferably in STEM field.
•    At least 10 plus years of managing IT related tasks.

Preferred Qualifications:
•    Experience with Agile methodology. 

Minimum Qualifications:
•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•    Able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously; detail-oriented and work well in a team environment.
