Summary
The MIL Corporation seeks a Financial Consulting, Senior Analyst to support a Federal Government client with financial system migration to a Federal shared service provider.
Responsibilities
- Support the migration of accounting and financial systems to a shared service provider
- Develop current state/as-is process documentation at a detailed level to assist in determining current state processes and system needs
- Develop detailed future state/to-be process documentation of those business events that result in accounting events, based on agreed upon configuration and service elections
- Gather system configuration and/or specialized requirements utilizing templates and procedures.
- Support meetings from engagement through migration, go-live, and post-implementation to ensure proper communication of current and future state processes
- Support the review of all services offered and determining specific services the agency will choose, including clearly articulating the scope of services in service level agreement (SLA)
- Assist in documenting policies and standard operating procedures related to the use of new shared service systems.

- Programming languages
- Strong background in business process analysis and reengineering, business process as-is and to-be documentation, fit gap analyses, requirements, workflows, flow charts, change management, communications, and user stories
- Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to execute high level written communications and documentation.
- Very high level of attention to detail to minimize rework
- Experience defining solutions for complex business problems, and developing a product roadmap for implementing solutions
- Advanced problem solving, analytical and design skills
