Job Summary: 
We have an immediate opening for a research assistant with experience in developing adult learning training materials.  The successful candidate will work closely with project managers and a multidisciplinary research team working on data collection for the National Assessment of Educational Progress, (NAEP), an innovative digital educational assessment also known as “The Nation's Report Card.”

Job Responsibilities:
•    Participate in design, development and review of distance training development program. 
•    Create training materials including developing and writing training procedures manuals and support material.
•    Assist in conducting in-person training sessions for adult learners.
•    Work with project and IT staff on technical specifications for field systems.
•    Other relevant job duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:
•    A bachelor's degree and 1 year of relevant experience.
•    US Citizenship is required by contract.

Preferred Qualifications: 
•    Master's degree.
•    Fluency in Spanish.
•    Experience with adult learning development or e-learning tools such as Captivate.
•    Experience with large-scale field operations and digitally-based assessments. 

Minimum Qualifications:
•    Candidates must demonstrate excellent attention to detail, and have strong written and oral communication skills, interpersonal, and organizational skills. 
•    Ability to work both independently and in a team environment. 
•    Experience working in an education or web survey environment is desirable.
