Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire an experienced Grants Manager who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.
The Grants Manager will be responsible for the management and implementation of the Grants Management Department, including all aspects of grant opportunity mining, proposal preparation and submission to foundations, non-profit entities, the government, or any other funding agency, and grants management.
The major responsibilities of this role will include:
• Collaborating with appropriate AHC leadership and department representatives; 2. Oversight and involvement in writing, editing, and submission processes
• Budgetary management and overall administration for grants received; including coordination with appropriate personnel in finance and maintenance of documentation.
• Creation and management of proposal database
• Functions as a liaison between grantor and grantee to ensure guidelines are followed
• Proactively mining grant opportunities.
Qualifications include:
• Bachelor's degree in healthcare or grants management related field.
• Prefer 5+ years of progressive grants management and leadership experience in a healthcare system, with evidence of progressive responsibility.
• Prefer 2+ years of supervisory experience.
• Grants Management Certification preferred.
