Graduate Level Internship (unpaid) - Clinical Pastoral Education
Adventist Healthcare is looking for spiritual care providers interested in becoming Clinical Pastoral Education candidates to provide spiritual care to our patients and staff.

This is an unpaid internship as part of clinical training for spiritual care providers.

Preferred candidates would be current seminarians, or master's degree graduates (seminary or other spiritual learning path). Lay persons or other spiritual leaders interested will also be considered.

Clinical Pastoral Education Interns receive full supervision and educational credit towards board certification as healthcare chaplains through in person ministry practice in our hospitals. Training is provided through group work, one on one supervision, shadowing board certified chaplains and presenting case presentations in group. Through the group process, interns receive feedback and support for their ministry in a clinical setting.

This program requires approximately 20 hours per week; One eight-hour shift during the week, and one 12 hour shift on the weekend.
