Shady Grove Medical Center seeks to hire an experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) for our Acquilino Cancer Center who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.
As an Occupational Therapist (OT) you will:
• Participate in the evaluation, planning and implementation of specific treatment and prevention programs for chronic conditions, illnesses, and/or musculoskeletal injuries in accordance with patient needs.
• Provide services that will restore physical function, improve mobility, relieve pain and assist patients in reaching their maximum performance level.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team regarding the needs of the patient and serves as an educator to patients and families.
Qualifications include:
• Master's degree from an accredited occupational therapy program required
• Current Maryland OT license required
• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Must obtain Certified Lymphedema Therapist certification at Adventist HealthCare's expense

Work Schedule:
*Selected candidate will need to complete the 135 hour course in the Vodder Technique that is offered by the Klose School and Norton School. Certification will be paid for by Adventist Healthcare!
Per diem coverage as needed; Monday thru Friday 730-1600 + rotate through the
holiday schedule. Minimum per diem requirement is two weekend days per month.
