Adventist Healthcare Shady Grove Medical Center seeks to hire a Human Resources Business Partner for our Human Resources Department who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.
As a Human Resources Business Partner, you will:
• Provide outstanding guidance and support to hospital leadership regarding employee relations, compensation, and business strategy.
• Manage employee relations for your designated teams through investigations, fact-finding, detecting perceptions and needs of employees, and understanding and valuing employee differences.
• Build and sustain strong business relationships with leadership of designated teams to provide support and guidance as a strategic partner.
• Actively identify gaps in operations and propose and implement changes.
• Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with HR Shared Services to develop solutions, programs and policies that meet the needs of designated teams and the overall system.
• Work with entity support to meet or exceed all established HR metrics.
• Participate in the evaluation of HR policies, best practices, and needs to evaluate and define priorities and focus.
• Lead and/or participate in the planning and execution of entity-wide employee activities (summer picnic, holiday party, etc.)
Qualifications include:
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
• Should possess at least 4-6 years of progressive
experience as an HR Generalist or 1-2 years of experience
as an HR Business Partner
• Experience using Workday a plus
• Effective communications and collaborative problem
solving strategies to prevent or resolve complex employee relations issues.
