Adventist HealthCare Outpatient Wellness Clinic (OWC) seeks to hire a Behavioral Health Therapist in Rockville, MD. We are offering a sign on bonus up to $7,500!
The Outpatient Wellness Clinic (OWC) provides diagnostic evaluation, medication management, and psychotherapy services to children, adolescents, and adults with a primary psychiatric diagnosis.
As a Behavioral Health Therapist, you will:
•Conduct initial psychosocial assessments, individual therapy, and group therapy and provide individual therapy for a caseload of patients
•Provide care coordination for patients
•Collaborate on shared patients with psychiatric providers and outside providers or organizations involved in patients' care
•Complete timely documentation abiding by The Joint Commission quality standards
Lead behavioral health support groups and workshops, if that is an area of interest to you
Qualifications Include:
•Must have active licensure in the state of Maryland and be in good standing. •Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Certified Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Certified Social Worker - Clinical (LCSW-C), Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC)
•1 or more years of experience in direct patient care in behavioral health
•Strong knowledge of psychological disorders, abnormal psychology, and therapeutic modalities and interventions
•Experience providing therapy in an outpatient setting
•Experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and supportive therapy
•Experience working with an electronic medical record
