Term Instructor, Advanced Biomedical Sciences Program George Mason University and Georgetown University maintain a partnership in graduate biomedical education, and we are seeking an individual to serve as Term Instructor in the Advanced Biomedical Sciences graduate certificate program at the Science and Technology campus of George Mason University in Manassas, VA. Specific duties include:Conducting recitations, reviews, and facilitated learning sessions;Providing instructional support for course directors;Assisting the Program Director in administration of the program including Data Management;Participating in the planning and execution of student activities outside of the classroom; andStudent advising and teaching.Required Qualifications:Successful completion of an M.S. in physiology or a related field prior to the start date of the position.Preferred Qualifications:Some teaching experience in the sciences at the secondary or higher education-level, especially medical related courses;Experience with premedical advising and/or graduate programs;Familiarity with hybrid learning/flipped classroom learning; andFamiliarity with lecture capture technology and supporting online course materials.
