ACCOUNTANT–Bookkeeper    Part time / Full Time

Concrete Construction Company in Landover MD, seeking a candidate with minimum 10 years’ experience in general bookkeeping to oversee our Company’s  financial data and compliance by maintaining accurate books on accounts payable and receivable, payroll, & financial entries and reconciliations. CPA certification not required.

Long term commitment is a must. Our present Bookkeeper/Accountant is retiring after 50 years with the Company.

Requirements:
Proficiency in Peachtree, Sage or similar accounting software.
Attention to detail and confidentiality, a must.
Mature candidate must be able to visit our construction jobsites if required.
Good oral and written communication is a plus.  
The ideal candidate should have the ability to work with little supervision.

Compensation commensurate with performance.
