The International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) is a not-for-profit organization of approximately 20,000 members from the world's law enforcement community which was founded more than 100 years ago.
The IACP is a not-for-profit organization of approximately 20,000 members from the world's law enforcement community. In operation for over a century, the association has as its mission to lead and support the efforts of police administrators around the world in advancing the science and art of police services; to enhance cooperation among all police administrators; to bring about the best possible recruitment and training of qualified persons into the police profession while adhering to the highest professional standards of conduct; and to provide quality products and services to enhance membership and marketing of IACP programs. The IACP continues to address the needs of today's law enforcement professionals by initiating programs to help them meet their challenging responsibilities. In operation since 1893, the IACP has a proud history of service and achievement.
