By combining our expert professional technicians, commercial best practices, extensive facilities knowledge and strong commitment to reliable, responsive service, we enable our government clients to achieve consistently high-performance facilities, on-time projects and long-term value.Job Title: Quality Control InspectorJob Summary: EMCOR Government Services is seeking a Quality Control Inspector at Baltimore Washington International Airport (BWI).Identifies and corrects or coordinates the correction of deficiencies in; METASYS Building Automation System Graphics, Descriptors, and sequences of operation, MAXIMO Work Management System Work Plans and Equipment documentation. Identifies and implements opportunities for improvements for sequences of operations for METASYS. Verifies that new equipment installed under capital projects is properly documented in MAXIMO and programmed in METASYS** This position is contingent upon contract award. **Responsibilities:Verify that MAXIMO work plans for preventive maintenance tasks address all potential failure modes.Make changes to work plans as required to match best practices.Verify that preventive maintenance tasks are completed in accordance with work plans.Verify that MAXIMO equipment list is current and make changes as required.Verify that METASYS Building Automation System's sequence of operation is optimized for energy and comfort.Develop and coordinate the implementation of revisions to sequence of operations for Building Automation Systems as needed.Analyze METASYS alarms to identify systemic issues with equipment or sequence of operation. Coordinate with Building Automation Technicians to implement changes to sequence of operation.Identify logical relationships between HVAC conditions to create logical alarms that will better inform METASYS Operators and Stationary engineers of system status.Develop and implement Macro commands that will control multiple pieces of equipment from a single METASYS point.Provide assistance to BWI Construction Management contractors to coordinate interface between existing building HVAC and Building Automation systems and new equipment installed under Capital Projects.Participate in commissioning of new HVAC and Building Automation equipment.Verify accuracy of Metasys graphics and descriptors. Make approved corrections.Coordinates implementation of best practices for maintenance and repair proceduresQualifications: 5 years' experience and training in one or more of the following; HVAC, Building Automation, IT, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Energy Management, Operations Management.Ability to facilitate communication across various employee work groups, administration staff and contractors.Ability to drive, climb ladders and lift 50 lbs.We offer our employees a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package and are always looking for individuals with the talent and skills required to contribute to our continued growth and success.
