Community Connections is the largest not for profit behavioral health agency in DC, serving vulnerable individuals, families, and children since 1984. The Associate Director for the Center for Families and Children position will have direct oversight responsibility for the Community Based Intervention (CBI) Program and perform other administrative leadership responsibilities for the Center. Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in DC required.
  • Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) Responsibilities:
    • Manage the Community Based Intervention Program, and supervise the CBI team staff which serves children, adolescents, and families who benefit from the highest intensity of community-based services
    • Contribute to and write grant proposals and reports
    • Provide supervision for LGSW staff members
    • Perform other administrative responsibilities for the Center for Families and Children at large
    • Reports to the Center for Families and Children Director
  • Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) Qualifications:
    • DC LICSW
    • Five years management and/or supervisory experience
    • Five years of experience serving families with serious emotional disturbances
    • Pass Community Connections' agency background check
    • Have a personal car and clean driving record
