    GS-1160-14:

    EXPERIENCE: One year of specialized experience comparable in scope and responsibility to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service (obtained in either the public or private sector). Specialized experience is defined as: Analyzing the audited and interim financial statements of for-profit or not-for profit commercial lending institutions to develop a comprehensive picture of their financial condition; and preparing written reports providing conclusions of the analyses with relevant supporting facts; and experience in commercial credit analysis and loan file review, as a commercial loan underwriter, commercial loan servicer, or loan workout specialist for a financial institution or government agency or experience performing commercial loan file reviews for a financial institution or regulator.

    This experience must be clearly referenced in your resume. You must include hours worked per week for each employment entry.

    You must include months, years and hours per week worked to receive credit for your work and/or volunteer experience. One year of specialized experience is equivalent to 12 months at 40 hours per week. Part-time hours are prorated. You will not receive any credit for experience that does not indicate exact hours per week or is listed as "varies".

    Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g. Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g. professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.


    All qualification requirements must be met by 11:59 pm (Eastern Time) on the closing date of this vacancy announcement.

    Serves as the lead primary regulator for a portfolio of SBA Supervised Lenders and the 7(a) loan program participants. Plan and lead safety and soundness examinations and direct the team of contractors that interviews and perform loan file reviews.

    New federal employees will start at the GS-14, Step 1, $117,191 per annum.
    The Full Performance Level of this position is a GS-14.

    Physical Demands: The work is primarily sedentary, although some slight physical effort may be required.

    Work Environment: The work is performed in a typical office setting.
