Must obtain and maintain a top-secret security clearance.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector demonstrating a mastery knowledge of wide range of management and organizational principles and practices that involve analyzing, evaluating, managing and directing security and safety concepts, policies, and practices in order to resolve highly difficult and complex problems related to operational/physical security program. In addition, experience with state-of-the-art security equipment, and devices to resolve problems and/or develop alternatives in the areas of security systems design, installation, and maintenance to enhance security system capabilities. Examples of specialized experience are as follows: 1) Participates in developing the command operational/physical security program; 2) Prepares the content and presentation of security matters to key senior leaders, and decision makers within the organization; 3) Documents, tracks, and reports training statistics for the office; 4) Reviews standing operating procedures that foster safe practices and procedures; 5) Conducts accident and mishap investigations that have occurred within the organization; and 6) Utilizes variety of state-of-the-art security systems, equipment and devices.
