    Applicants must have:

    (1) Law degree and

    (2) Letter of good standing in a bar;

    GS-14:

    Applicants must have:

    Minimum Qualifications:

    (1) Law degree

    (2) Letter of good standing in a bar;

    Basic Requirements:

    You must be a graduate from a law school accredited by the American Bar Association.

    Proof of admission to the Bar of the highest court of a state, territory, the District of Columbia, or the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico; and current membership in such Bar as would permit the practice of law. You must be a member in good standing of a state, territory of the United States, District of Columbia, or Commonwealth of Puerto Rico bar.

    PROOF MUST BE SUBMITTED WITH APPLICATION.

    Specialized Experience for the GS-13:

    One year of experience equivalent to the GS-12 performing all three (3) of the following duties or work assignments:

    1. Providing legal advice on procurement matters, including issues that are marked by the absence of readily available precedent.
    2. Providing legal advice on appropriations matters.
    3. Litigating matters at hearings and trains before the Civilian Board of Contract Appeals, the U.S. Government Accountability Office and courts. 

    For appointment at the GS-13 level, the following qualification requirements are needed: Three (3) or more years of professional legal experience acquired after being admitted to the Bar. You must have one years of specialized experience commensurate with the duties and responsibilities of the position at a level close to the work of this job that has given you the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities required to successfully perform.

    Specialized Experience for the GS-14:

    One year of experience equivalent to the GS-13 performing all three (3) of the following duties or work assignments:

    1. Providing legal advice on procurement matters, including issues that are marked by the absence of readily available precedent, and identifying issues that mat require attention at a higher level.
    2. Providing legal advice on appropriations matters and reviewing documents for legal sufficiency.
    3. Litigating matters at hearing and trails before the Civilian Board of Contract Appeals, the U.S. Government Accountability Office and courts.

    For appointment at the GS-14 level, the following qualification requirements are needed: Four (4) or more years of professional legal experience acquired after being admitted to the Bard. You must have one years of specialized experience commensurate with the duties and responsibilities of the position at a level close to the work of this job that has given you the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities required to successfully perform.

    You must be a graduate from a law school accredited by the American Bar Association and be a member in good standing of a Bar of a state, territory of the United States, the District of Columbia, or the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.
