    Specialized experience for the GS-13: You must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as experience and a working knowledge in ALL of the following:
    - Demonstrated work experience in the area of US economic sanctions administered by OFAC; AND
    - Conducting, coordinating, or overseeing investigations pertaining to the enforcement of or compliance with US laws and regulations related to economic sanctions; AND
    - Preparing written and verbal analytical products for program managers on the results of document findings, research, and analyzed data.

    Specialized experience for the GS-12: You must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as experience and a working knowledge in ALL of the following:
    - Participating in investigations pertaining to the enforcement of or compliance with US laws and regulcations related to economic sanctions or export controls; AND
    - Preparing written reports for program managers on the results of document findings, research, and analyzed data.

    Specialized experience for the GS-11: You must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-9 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes experience in one or more of the following disciplines or a closely related field:
    International affairs, foreign policy, national security, economics, export controls, or international trade or finance; OR
    Experience in conducting internal or external audits, regulatory and/or legal compliance reviews, or law enforcement investigations of U.S. and/or foreign companies engaged in international trade, including the exportation of goods, services, or technology; OR
    Education: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree; OR
    3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree; OR LL.M., if related. You may qualify by a combination of experience and education. Only graduate level education in excess of the first 36 semester hours (54 quarter hours) may be combined to be considered for qualifying education.

    Specialized experience for the GS-9: You must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-7 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes experience in one or more of the following disciplines or a closely related field:
    International affairs, foreign policy, national security, economics, political science, banking, or international trade or finance; OR Education: master's or equivalent graduate degree, if related; OR
    2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree, if related; OR an LL.B. or J.D., if related to the position. You may qualify by a combination of experience and education. Only graduate level education in excess of the first 18 semester hours (27 quarter hours) may be combined to be considered for qualifying education.

    CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
    - A one year probationary period may be required.
    - Must successfully complete a background investigation.
