What will I be doing? The Management Development Program (MDP) is a comprehensive six-month development program designed to prepare graduating seniors for a rewarding career in hospitality. MDPs will spend the first 6-8 weeks of their program participating in a general rotation through all areas and disciplines of the hotel to gain a full understanding of our business. The proceeding 16-18 weeks will then focus on a specific area of specialization. Specialization Disciplines choices may include: Event Services, Finance & Accounting, Food and Beverage, Front Office, Housekeeping, Revenue Management and Sales/Marketing. This full-time paid training program begins in February, Summer, or Winter 2019 and offers a competitive entry-level management salary and job placement opportunities at one of our participating hotels upon successful completion. MDPs are placed in hotel locations across the USA such as: New York, DC, Orlando, Chicago, San Francisco, New Orleans, etc. What are we looking for? To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience: Applicants must have at least nine months of previous work experience (hospitality industry preferred).Applicants must be willing and able to relocate.Applicants must have the ability to fluently speak, read, and write in English.Applicants must be able to work in the US without employment sponsorship. It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:Applicants are a full-time college senior graduating in the Fall 2018 or Spring 2019 semesters, with a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, or related degree.
