Investment Analyst. Produce performance & risk analytics reports for internal staff & Investment Committee; daily reconciliation with custodian; monthly closing of public & private funds; prepare all audit schedules and endowment annual financial statements; support liquidity management & private funds cash flow forecasting; conduct performance attribution for managers & asset classes, maintains benchmarks. Employer: Smithsonian Institution located in Washington, DC. Work from home anywhere in U.S. permitted, but must be willing & able to travel occasionally for work. Requires MBA + 1 year exp. as an Investment Analyst, specifically monitoring performance of substantial equity investments & assets; conducting investment return, risk analysis & scenario analysis, using Excel Macro & applying assumptions in growth of income, sales, and GDP; consolidating, collecting & performing due diligence analysis of data; reconciling & providing investment income data for annual audit preparation; providing sensitivity analysis of investment returns; tracking investment liquidity, providing weekly & monthly reports for review; performing data integration, database management, & programming using VBA, &; applying Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS).
