Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To qualify at the GS-15 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes:
- Monitoring, and independently resolving problems relating to logistics life-cycle support and procurements; Recommend and initiate changes to policies and guidance.
- Gathers, consolidates, and interprets data from status reports, and performs workload management.
- Discusses and presents TFSO's positions on broad policy and program matters and as required, makes authoritative decisions and commitments on matters having a significant impact on current and future logistics management within TSFO.
Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
Physical Demands: The incumbent must be able to work effectively under pressure of deadline and high-level interest, and must work cooperatively with others. Work may involve lifting of material or packages up to 50 pounds, or possibly more with assistance from others. Work may also involve occasional physical exertion as in the case of observing or participating in field operations or conducting reviews of facilities.
Work Environment: Work is normally performed in a typical office setting, however, work may occasionally involve long periods of standing, bending or stooping to study or participate in work operations in industrial, storage, field, or comparable works areas.
