    CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT: If selected for this position, you will be required to: - Complete a Declaration for Federal Employment to determine your suitability for Federal employment. - Have your salary sent to a financial institution of your choice by Direct Deposit/Electronic Fund Transfer. - Go through a Personal Identity Verification (PIV) process that requires two forms of identification from the Form I-9. Federal law requires verification of the identity and employment eligibility of all new hires in the U.S.

    Duties, responsibilities and qualification requirements vary in complexity among grade levels as noted below:

    GS- 11: Candidates must have one full year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 level. Specialized Experience is defined as: Experience reviewing and making recommendations for the adjudication of personnel security clearances, making suitability/fitness determinations and the suspension or revocation of security clearances. Experience using laws, Executive Orders, Office of Director of National Intelligence (ODNI), Office of Personnel Management (OPM), and  Department of Defense (DoD) personnel security policies and processes is highly preferred.    

    GS-12: Candidates must have one full year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 level. Specialized Experience is defined as: Significant experience adjudicating personnel security clearances, making suitability/fitness determinations and providing recommendations regarding suspension or revocation of security clearances. Experience using laws, Executive Orders, Office of Director of National Intelligence (ODNI), Office of Personnel Management (OPM), and  Department of Defense (DoD) personnel security policies and processes is highly preferred.

    • Ability to assess, evaluate, develop and interpret policies and procedures for a personnel security program.
    • Ability to communicate orally and in writing with all levels of management both inside and outside the agency.
