Job Summary:

We are seeking a research assistant to work as part of a team on several projects in the areas of health, nutrition and employment.  The projects include program evaluations as well as survey and data analysis studies. 

Job Responsibilities:

Conducting literature searches.

Supporting data collection activities including surveys, interviews, and site visits. Preparing data for analysis (both qualitative and quantitative).

Conducting preliminary data analyses (using both quantitative software and statistical packages).

Graphically representing data findings, and assisting in the writing of reports.

Basic Qualifications:

A bachelor's degree in the social sciences is required. 

Strong computer skills and experience with statistical software such as SAS is also a strong plus. Qualified candidates must have excellent written and oral communication skills; strong organizational skills; the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously; be detail-oriented; and work well in a fast-paced team environment. Some travel may be needed.
