Overview

The concierge and security assistant shall provide unarmed security services in and around AEI property as needed or as otherwise indicated per site specifications. The concierge and security personnel will provide a variety of services, implementing AEI’s security objectives according to policies and procedures that may include controlling entry and egress access; conducting roving patrols of the interior and exterior building areas; verifying visitor and building employee identification; reporting egress incident and daily operating reports; monitoring and responding to base building intrusion detection systems, alarms, and fire detection equipment; and responding as necessary to support other life-safety duties as identified in post orders and standard operating procedures. Additional concierge duties will include assisting the facilities team with event setup, helping with Institute mailings and supply restocking, and responding to building-related work orders as necessary. The ideal candidate will be a motivated and professional employee who meets or exceeds AEI’s standards.
